Will the mesh damage my panels or roof?

No. The clips attach to the panel frame, not to the panel surface or to the roof. Manufacturer warranties (LG, REC, SunPower, Panasonic) all permit this attachment method. If you have an active install warranty we coordinate with the installer to keep it intact.

How long does the mesh last?

We use 19-gauge galvanized steel rated for 20+ years in coastal Southern California. Plastic alternatives sold at hardware stores fail in UV in 2-3 years and are not coastal-grade.

Do you remove the existing nest?

Yes, before mesh installation. We do humane nest removal — no chicks during nesting season, we wait or relocate. Then a full panel and roof clean before the guard goes up.
